Abstract

The general outlines and results of a long range atmospheric dispersion model intercomparison exercise are presented. The exercise is based on the ground level concentration evolution consequent to the two European long range tracer experiment (ETEX) tracer releases performed on the 23rd October and 14th November 1994 in north-west France. The two releases were executed under different weather conditions, the first with a westerly flow, the second with stronger winds from the southwest.
