Abstract

Coastal zones represent one of the most dynamic and complex natural environments in which human activity, ecology, economy and geomorphology interact, The growth of integrated coastal zone management (ICZM), over recent years, has encouraged many disciplines to come together to solve problems and to think collectively on issues of sustainable coastal development. The development of information technology has played and important role in bridging the gap between such disciplines. A methodology (SSS approach) is presented to support decision making in ICZM.
