Investigation of solar cell capacitance and its dependence on temperature using the photocurrent-response method
The paper presents experimental measurement results of the light-induced diffusion capacitance (C(diff)) versus forward bias voltage (U) and the device temperature (T). The measurements are based on the photocurrent response of a fixed biased solar cell. The photocurrent is induced by a square-shaped monochromatic irradiation pulse. From photocurrent-response (PCR) measurements, the influence of the minority carrier lifetime and impurities on the solar cell capacitance may be analysed.
