  • The certification of the EDTA-extractable contents (mass fractions) of Cd, Cr, Ni, Pb and Zn and of the DTPA-extractable contents (mass fractions) of Cd and Ni in calcareous soil by the extraction procedures given: CRM 600

This report describes the preparation of a calcareous soil reference material, CRM 600, the homogeneity and stability studies and the analytical work performed for the certification of the ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) extractable contents of some trace elements, following standardized extraction procedures. The report contains all the results and gives the methods used to certify the EDTA extractable contents of Dc, Cr, Ni, Pb and Zn, and the DTPA extractable contents of Cd and Ni (mass fractions expressed as: mg/kg on a dry matter basis) by the extraction procedures given. Indicative values are given for the EDTA-extractable content of Cu and the DTPA-extractable contents of Cr, Cu, Pb and Zn.
