Control of the magnetic configuration in ITER
This paper describes the methodology followed in the design of the feedback system that regulates the plasma current and shape in ITER. The attention is focussed on the design of the feedback controller, which is key to stability. Results obtained by linear and non-linear simulation codes are reported.
