Innovation measurement and policiesFunded under: FP4-INNOVATION
The international conference on Innovation Measurement and Policies was held in Luxembourg, on May 20-21, 1996. The conference was jointly organized by Eurostat and DG XIII of the European Commission. The purpose of the conference was to bring researchers, policy makers, and practitioners together to discuss innovation. The main topics were the initial results of the first Community Innovation Survey (CIS), the policy implications of innovation research and the types of innovation indicators required to meet future needs. These proceedings contain summaries of almost all of the contributions to the plenary and parallel sessions. The discussions that took place after each presentation are given directly after each summary.
