This publication contains Joint European Torus (JET) papers presented at the 12th topical conference on radio frequency power in plasmas, held in Savannah (United States) from 1-3 April 1997. The following papers are included:

- Interrupted current rise heating (ICRH) on JET high performance plasmas. This paper covers a wide range of experiments: confinement and H-mode threshold scaling experiments, combined heating experiments at high plasma current and heating in high performance plasmas;
- The JET wideband matching system. The system aims to prevent degradation by edge-localized modes (ELM) in the performance of the interrupted continuous radio frequency (ICRF) system.
- Lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiments in high performance plasmas in JET. This paper considers the use of LHCD for current profile shaping in shear optimization experiments;
- A statistic wave field model. A model of the azimuthal Fourier mode spectrum is analysed for elliptical cylinders.
