An adaptive 3-D CFD solver for modelling transient turbulent deflagrations on large scales
An adaptive 3-dimensional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver for modelling transient turbulent deflagrations on large nuclear reactors scales is presented. The k-e turbulence model and the eddy-dissipation turbulent combustion model are studied. Results are compared with experimental data.
