The use of dynamic analysis techniques for the thermal characterization of building components
The CEC is searching for standardized methodologies for the assessment of thermal parameters for different types of building components. This is performed through the standardization (CEN and ISO) organizations and through national research institutes. Besides conventional walls, concrete or masonry walls are of interest. Dynamic system identification techniques are the most promising methods to achieve this goal. Within the frame of several projects the work at the JRC solar test site has concentrated on the development of reliable parameter identification methods. The application of identification methods on in situ measurements are discussed.
