Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The general objective of the Action COST 510 was to develop high temperature (HT) testing and measuring techniques for characterization and evaluation of advanced materials for components and structures to be operated at extremely high temperatures above 1500 C. The results of the cooperative research work were presented and discussed in a final workshop hold in Smolenice near Bratislava in Slovakia on June 1-4, 1997. The present booklet contains the proceedings of this Workshop and, at the same time, represents the Final Report on the COST 510 action.
