Application of the FFT uncertainty quantification methodology to the OECD-CSNI ISP-39
This paper summarizes the accuracy quantification of the code prediction calculations carried out in the framework of the International Standard Problem 39 (ISP-39) using a methodology based on the fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique. ISP-39 is a code benchmark exercise organized by the Institute for Systems Informatics and Safety (ISIS) of the European Commission (EC) Joint Research Center (JRC) in collaboration with the Committee on the Safety of Nuclear Installations (CSNI) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The exercise was based on the test L-14, a fuel cooling interaction experiment performed in the FARO facility (JRC Ispra).
