Experimental determination of the (234)U(n(th),f) cross-section
The (234)U(n(th),f) cross-section was determined for the first time at the high flux reactor of the Institute Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, yielding a value of (300±20) mb. This was only possible due to the combination of highly enriched 234U sample with an excellent neutron beam.
