ITER task T227: Tritium permeation and inventory-H/D/T gas and ion-driven permeation
This document presents the final report of the activities performed under the ITER task T227: Tritium permeation and inventory- H/D/T gas and ion driven permeation. The effort has concentrated on the study of Cu alloy and carbon fibre composites (CFC). In parallel, the setting up a plasma simulator has been set up and calibrated. The activity presented here has involved not only experimental work but also the calculation of the tritium inventory and permeation in the International thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER) design taking into account the non-continuous character of its operation.
