High efficiency power energizer for electric vehicles using a diluted ethanol corona catalytic reformer and PEM fuel cell
There are promising concepts for future electric vehicles based on the instantaneous production of hydrogen from a storable high density liquid fuel (eg methanol or ethanol) to feed a photoelectromagnetic (PEM) fuel-cell electric power generator. An attractive system for electricity production at very acceptable cost can be based on the production of hydrogen from diluted ethanol by combined electronic cold plasma-chemical/catalytic reforming and its use in fuel cells.
