Human factors data and accidents reporting systems for aviation safety
One of the major challenges in the field of flight safety is to develop more effective instruments for the identification of key causal factors that can lead to an accident, before the accident occurs. Prime elements of this challenge are improving the quality of existing occurrence reporting systems and promoting the application of others based on standards formats. The work aims at evaluating two different occurrence reporting system taxonomies, especially in the field of human factors, to illustrate main characteristics and improvements derived from the new ADREP 2000 classification and how this one could be itself improved.
