This investigation was aimed at developing and producing two apparatuses for the dynamic-gravimetric production of calibration gas mixtures at a low level of uncertainty, and at detecting the uncertainty factors. The production comes about as a result of mixing flowing gas masses. There are two ways of determining these gas masses (ie indirectly by using primarily calibrated mass voltage gauges, or directly by measuring continuously the mass reduction of the gas container during the measurement). The apparatus developed here for the direct measuring allows the spatial separation of permeation distance and weighing room. Both apparatuses showed that gas mixtures of different compositions are produced easily and quickly by dynamic-gravimetric means. The systems are especially useful if gas mixtures of different compositions are needed quickly.
