Abstract

Poultry breeding, husbandry and processing practices have an enormous impact on the microbial contamination of the products. This COST Action was created and developed to contribute to the reduction of poultry contaminated products. This research network is organized in four working groups. These proceedings are the result of a workshop Safe chicken for the next century organized by the working group dedicated to the prevention of infection of live birds used for meat and egg production.
