Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

Abstract

These multidisciplinary guidelines give examples of best practice and offer advice to help individual organizations define their own strategy for electronic information. Their purpose is not to present a single, Europe-wide approach to the subject, but to pool the experience acquired by national, regional and European organizations for the benefit of all. The guidelines are aimed at people having only a basic knowledge in electronic records management as well as those with a more advanced level, working in a wide range of fields, especially those in:

- Public administration;
- Archives services;
- Industry (software and hardware suppliers);
- The research community;
in the member states and institutions of the European Union. nion.
