Abstract

Yields and energy distributions of Long Range Alpha particles emitted during 238,240,242,244Pu(SF) have been measured with a E/E detector. A decrease of 40% of the LRA emission probability was observed when going from 238Pu to Pu, which goes along with a comparable decrease on the standard II fission mode yield.
