Abstract

The current state of multimedia allows efficient development and use of computer based training (CBT) systems for nuclear safeguards. A co-operative work between software engineers, trainers, scientists and inspectors has been started to develop a set of multimedia refreshment training courses for inspectors on infield instrumentation. The aim of this teamwork is to design, build and maintain interactive teaching and training tools to refresh knowledge such as "How To Use The Instrument In An Inspection". The paper outlines the main functions and features, described the prototype, and proposes future developments.
