Abstract

The aircraft measurements collected during the BEMA campaign conducted last June in Buriana (SP) are used to validate an analytical model for the determination of the TIBL height. The latter is a necessary parameter for the determination of coastal dispersion processes. The square root of distance behaviour has been confirmed to be adequate as well as the vertical extension of the turbulent layer.
