Characterization by monitoring of energy consumption in service enterprises - restaurants and supermarkets (Executive Summary) Objectives were to monitor energy consumption in service industries powered by low voltage in Portugal and Spain, such as restaurants and small supermarkets. Energy conservation opportunities are identified, and an assessment of energy efficiency and the profitability of investment in energy saving measures is made.
