Safety Culture and the Implementation of safety management Systems
In view of the new Directive 96/82/EC to improve the effectiveness of the legislative framework in the prevention of major industrial accidents, requiring companies to exhibit the existence of a formal safety management system (SMS), examines the factors that may influence its practical implementation. Considers the culture of a country, the site culture, the size of a site and business approaches for the implementation of safety strategies.
