Abstract

The aim of the CTDD programme was to investigate H(2)S removal from fuel gas as part of a strategy to develop an integrated fuel gas cleansing system. Principally, the aim was to develop systems which are integral with the particulate cleaning, fuel gas ammonia and HCI removal processes, thereby removing H(2)S to prevent degradation of the turbine hot gas path and to reduce sulphur oxide emissions to atmosphere.
