The context of the Phase I of the Benchmark Exercise on Expert Judgement Techniques in Level 2 PSA: The JRC FARO L-24 Experiment
This paper recalls the aims and purposes of the benchmark exercise on expert judgement technique in PSA level 2. The focus is on phase I of the benchmark, devoted to the parameter assessment problem related to a fuel coolant interaction issue. The reference experiment is presented together with preliminary comparisons of structured expert judgements methods vs. experimental results.
