Evolution of a PtAl coating on CMSX-6 subjected to Thermo-mechanical Fatigue
A detailed analysis is presented which examines the degradation of a PtAl coating on a nickel superalloy substrate due to thermo-mechanical fatigue. The coating composition is characterized both for tested and untested material by X-ray diffractometry and by electron probe micro-analysis.
