Abstract

The paper describes the application of the KEEJAM, a knowledge engineering methodology, to the phase 2 of the Benchmark Exercise on Expert Judgement Techniques in PSA Level 2. The issue to be tackled in this phase of the benchmark is concerned with the assessment of the probability of hydrogen deflagration/detonation in a generic evolutionary pressurized water reactor. Final aim of KEEJAM is to model the different experts problem solving approaches and, possibly, to merge them in a single integrated model to be used to derive final estimates for the required issue.
