  • Experimental study of correlation's between fission neutron multiplicity, mass and kinetic energy of fission fragments from spontaneous fission of (252)Cf, (244)Cm and (248)Cm

The number of prompt neutrons emitted by individual fission fragments has been measured simultaneously with the kinetic energy of both fragments. Structure has been found in the partial distribution for (248)Cm spontaneous fission at higher difference in the excitation energy of the complementary fragments. The results obtained for the (248)Cm spontaneous fission have been compared to those for ternary fission of (252)Cf.
