Insights into the electronic structure of ceramics through quantitative analysis of valence electron energy-loss spectroscopy
The electronic structure of various ceramics was determined by quantitative analysis of valence electron energy-loss spectroscopy in a dedicated scanning transmission electron microscope. The interband transition strength was calculated and compared to results from optical spectroscopy.
