A method for the experimental investigation of axisymmetric cyclotron radiation in tokamaks with partial fish-scale first wall
A method for investigating the asymmetric high-frequency cyclotron radiation generated by asymmetric reflectivity in tokamaks with partial fish-scale first wall is presented. It is shown that the differential and average reflectivity's which, respectively, determine passive synchrotron radiation current drive and power loss in tokamak reactors can be obtained from relative measurements of high-frequency radiation in existing and next-step tokamaks.
