Corrosion of heat exchanger alloys exposed to a non-equilibrated CO-based sulphidizing environments at 550 degrees celsiusFunded under: FP4-BRITE/EURAM 3
This paper presents results from a series of experiments involving exposure of candidate and 'model', higher Si-containing alloys to a simulated coal gasification environment at 550degrees celsius. Comparisons are made between the corrosion resistance of the commercial and model alloys and the beneficial influence of Si demonstrated.
