The Alloys Database has been developed at JRC Petten as a computer-based system for the management of experimental data for engineering alloys, which mostly find elevated temperature application. The database structure is not, however, restricted purely to elevated temperature materials data, but is capable of accommodating all engineering alloys at any temperature. Its emphasis is on management of data deriving from standardized tests, and on materials evaluation methods, which are well established and widely accepted.
