Abstract

New particle formation in the atmosphere is and important process in the atmosphere since ultrafine aerosols have an important role on the radiative balance of earth and ozone depletion in the stratosphere. An appropriate formulation of the nucleation process in the atmosphere may also enhance our understanding for the formation/composition of aerosols which are for vital importance in the environment. Therefore, a sensitivity study of three different nucleation methodologies is performed in the current paper to examine their influence on their predictions on new particle formation.
