Abstract

IRMM participated in a recent international comparison for the Standardization of a 204T1 solution organized by BIPM. The activity concentration of the 204 TI solution was measured at IRMM using 3 independent methods; Liquid Scintillation Counting using the CIEMAT,/NIST method, 4n-Csl counting and 47rp counting using a large pressurized proportional counter. This article describes the measurements in detail and discusses potential problems in the Standardization of 204 TI. @ 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
