Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The concerted COST Action 827 started in April 1996 for five years aiming at creating research coordination at European level on factors affecting voluntary feed intake in fish. The mid-term report summarizes the main activities during the period 1996-1999. The work was divided into five working groups, dealing with feeding management and engineering, physiological control, and environmental, behavioural and dietary factors, respectively. COST Action 827 organized two workshops (Aberdeen, April 1997, and Umea, August 1998) and was associated with the symposium on fish physiology (Uppsala, August 1998) and the aquaculture Europe conference (Bordeaux, October 1998). Data on participating laboratories as well as their 1996-1999 publications related to COST Action 827 are included in this report.
