Applications of flourescence techniques for the study of uranium with many homogenes and heterogenes
This thesis describes the use of Tome-Resolved Flourescence to characterize the sprectroscopy of hydroxo-complexes of hexavalent uranium, and to study photochemical reactions involving these species at mineral / water interfaces. The instrumentation used comprised of either an excimer laser coupled to an optical multichannel analyser OMA or a Nd-YAG laser coupled to a stroboscopic photomultiplier.
