Magnetic Excitations in UGa3
Uga(3) behaves as an itinerant antiferromagnet with T(N) = 67 K and an ordered moment of u = 0.7 u(B) per uranium atom. In this paper we discuss the magnetic excitation spectrum investigated by inelastic neutron scattering. The spectrum can be described as a coupled system of two components: namely (i) a quasi-elastic and (ii) an inelastic response. The susceptibility of the quasi-elastic response exhibits an anomalous temperature dependence.
