Study on electronic payment systems for the committee on economic and monetary affairs and industrial policy of the European Parliament
This study has been carried out on behalf of the European Parliament with the aim of producing an overview of currently available analyses on key policy questions about the deployment of electronic commerce and the introduction of new payment systems. The primary concerns where focused on four main areas: Security issues and e-commerce, EMU and prospects for cross-border e-commerce, Standardisation and Regulation, monetary policy and stability.
