Human Factors Insight Reliability Data from Accident Reports: The Case of ADREP-2000 for Aviation Safety Assessment
This paper describes a classification system and database in the domain of aviation that can be applied also in other working contexts and technologies, to represent accident development. Specific reference to human factors issues is shown, in accordance with modern theories of accident causation. The same taxonomy and classification system is then analysed with respect to its ability to generate human reliability data for probabilistic safety studies.
