Abstract

The effectiveness of the nuclear track methods for the localization of particles containing actinides in samples from different origin is discussed. The methods are combined with Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) in order to obtain chemical and isotopic characterization as well as morphological information.
