Abstract

The Study 6 "Development and Validation of Methods for Customs Analysis" discusses the problem of compilation of methods of analysis and precision data, which are relevant to customs laboratories.

The data structure of the problem was evaluated. For the collection procedure a database on a personal computer was designed. The database was used to store the information supplied by participants.

The use of precision data in Customs laboratories will be discussed with respect to the use in quality assurance systems and for decisions near limits in the Customs Tariff.

Suggestions for further works are given.
