Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The International Cooperation on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for the Registration of Veterinary Medicinal Products (VICH) is a unique project that brings together the regulatory authorities of the European Union, Japan and the United States and experts from the Animal Health Industry in the three regions to discuss scientific and technical aspects of new product registration. Regulatory authorities and industry experts from Australia and New Zealand participate in an observer capacity.

The First International VICH Conference marks the completion of a first phase of the harmonisation of regulatory requirements among the VICH regions. This public conference will serve to disseminate the results of VICH and enable public information and debate on its on-going activities.
