Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

In Europe many national programmes have started on the realisation in buildings. All together, the EU Campaign for take-off aims at the installation of 500,000 kW PV roofs systems in Europe. It is unthinkable that all these roofs will be covered with uncertified products. According to the Construction Products Directive (CDP), 89/106/EEC, all building products should carry the CE-mark, showing that the product is fit for intended use: Two activities related to this issue can be mentioned: the Joule project Prescript and the Altener project Procede.
