The certification of the clenbuterol and salbutamol concentrations in lyophilized bovine urine. BCR-502 to BCR-504

Funded under: FP5-GROWTH

This report describes the preparation and certification of reference materials for clenbuterol and salbutamol in lyophilized bovine urine matrix: BCR-502, as analytical blank, stems from an untreated calf; BCR-503 and BCR-504 are authentically incurred materials obtained from animals administered clenbuterol and salbutamol orally.

The homogeneity and stability of the materials were studied, and specific tests did not reveal any inhomogeneity or instability.

The methods of analysis used for certification of the substance concentrations of clenbuterol and salbutamol in the reconstituted urine samples were all based on mass spectrometry. ry.
