Sensitivity analysis for importance assessment
This study presents some thoughts as to what sensitivity analysis is and can do in the context of model based studies. It argues in favour of an extended role for quantitative sensitivity analysis, based on examples and quotes from practitioners. Next an attempt is made at defining what property a global sensitivity analysis should have, at the same time offering some methods that appear promising with respect to these properties.
