Spherical neutron polarimetry in the antiferromagnetic state of monocrystalline UNi(2)Al(3) has established that the magnetic structure in zero field is an amplitude modulated magnetization density wave with moment axis along the a direction of the basal plane in the hexagonal structure. There is no observable change in the orientation of the magnetic moments when the material becomes super-conducting below 1 k.
