Abstract

This report describes the basic concepts and principles of operation of the Centrifugal Fuel cell - an innovative electrochemical device for clean energy production. It also describes the research studies undertaken to date on the development of the idea from conception through to design, construction and testing of the first prototype device. The main results of the testing phase are presented to allow an assessment of the overall performance of the device and to ascertain its potential for future exploitation.

-Part 1 describes the underlying principles of operation and design concepts of centrifuge-enhanced metal-air electrochemical systems which form the basis for the current development.

-Part 2 describes the current status of experimental results obtained from preliminary tests on the first prototype and provides an assessment of the general feasibility and prospects for future development. nt.
