Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

This is the third workshop on this topic jointly organised by the European Safeguards Research and Development Association (ESARDA) and the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management. The purpose of the workshop was to inform the safeguards community about current research in the natural and social sciences, and about selected advanced technologies, that will become available for use in the next few years, and could be used to support needed advances in international safeguards. It also provided an opportunity for technical interchange between researchers and safeguards experts. The proceedings include the forty-one papers presented at the workshop. An electronic version of the proceedings is available on a CD-ROM that is included with the printed version.
