Abstract

This is the second article coming from the series concerning decommissioning in Europe and it takes into consideration the experience acquired in Germany. After the description of the situation in Germany regarding operating and decommissioned nuclear plants, of the procedures concerning licence application and of the possible options for the decommissioning plan, this article provides some information on the power and research reactors that in the last 25 years have been shut down in this country.
