Abstract

The recent developments in informatics, including those in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), have lead to a wide use of the concept of modelling to describe the interrelationship between entities. In this paper the reader is acquainted with the concepts involved, and it is maintained that the integration of remote sensing and GIS technology can benefit from object data modelling.
